Ramapo to Host 3rd PUD Public Hearing in February
The town of Ramapo is holding another public hearing next month to discuss a local law being considered over allowing Planned Unit Developments throughout Ramapo, not just the Northeast Corridor, where it’s already been approved. Supervisor Michael Specht says the so-called PUDs deal with developers with properties of ten acres or more…
With the PUDs, the town is hoping to encourage developers to come up with residential, commercial or mixed-use projects to help alleviate the local housing crisis, including smaller and more affordable apartments and single-family homes. The next hearing is being held February 26th.
