Nicole Riad is the first female Eagle Scout in Rockland County

Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann attended the Eagle Court of Honor for Nicole Riad, the first female to attain the rank of Eagle Scout in Rockland County history.

Nicole started scouting in Egypt in 2005 and became involved with sea scouts when her family moved to the United States in 2010. In 2017 the Boy Scouts allowed girls to join and Nicole took her love of scouting with her as she began her path to Eagle.

She was first affiliated with a troop in Stony Point and then switched to Troop 97G in New City.

For her Eagle Scout project, Nicole renovated a small pond and garden at the Coptic Church in Stony Point. Congratulations Nicole!

The Board of Trustees Regular meeting will be held as a hybrid meeting on Thursday, August 11th at 7:00 pm at the Old Stone Meeting House at 347 North Broadway, Upper Nyack NY. This meeting will serve as the only meeting for August.

Trustees experience Extraordinary Circumstances who cannot attend the meeting in person may attend and participate in the meeting via Zoom video conferencing.

Members of the public may attend the meeting in person or online via Zoom video conference.  Participants attending in person and online will have the ability to view the meeting live and ask questions or make comments.
