Eagle Scout Nick Mancino signs final paperwork for his project
This week, Town of Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann met with Eagle Scout Nick Mancino to sign some final paperwork for his project, in which he made an entrance on Duke Lane for the Germonds-Traphagen trail in West Nyack.

Winter Storm advisory in Clarkstown
Winter StormRockland is expected to get between five and ten inches of snow starting late Friday through Saturday afternoon. Additionally, this storm system brings with it heavy winds with gusts expected to up to 35 MPH. Highway Superintendent Bob Milone and the Highway Department have been preparing for several days with brine applied to the roads, plow trucks serviced, loaded with salt and equipment ready to go once the storm starts.A few reminders:
- Do not park on the roads overnight. It is illegal to park on any street in Clarkstown between 12:00AM and 6:00AM during the winter months and it interferes with snow removal, and you are subject to a ticket or towing.
- Please stay off the roads during the height of the storm to allow us to clear the streets effectively.
- In the event of power outages, we are prepared to open facilities as warming and charging locations if needed.

Supervisor George Hoehmann and Town Council members Don Franchino and Mike Graziano joined the Palisades Mall General Manager Darrin Houseman and the Greater Nanuet Chamber of Commerce at a grand opening for Picanha Brazilian Steakhouse.
The new restaurant is located on the first floor of the mall by The Cheesecake Factory. Congratulations to the owner, JP Miranda!
Drive -Thru Winter Coat Drive February 5th
Assemblyman Mike Lawler and Orangetown Supervisor Teresa M. Kenny will host a Drive-Thru Winter Coat Drive on Saturday, February 5th from 10am until 2pm at Orangetown Town Hall.
