Celtic Cross concert July 20th
The band, who performs nationally and internationally, plays pop and folk fun with Celtic traditional roots from the heart of New York City. They will feature their song “Shores of America” based on local resident and FDNY firefighter Tom Foley who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Car Show at Congers Lake
This week we had a great turnout at the car show at Congers Lake. Councilman Mike Graziano and Highway Superintendent Bob Milone joined many residents for a fun event.

9th Annual Anthony Amoros Memorial Car Show

Anthony Amoros was a first-year student at RCC when he died in a one-car accident on Thiells-Mt. Ivy Road in Haverstraw in January 2013. A 2012 North Rockland High School graduate, Amoros loved working on cars and attended Rockland BOCES for auto mechanics.
His family established the car show in 2013 as a tribute to Anthony and his automotive passion. The Anthony A. Amoros Memorial Scholarship at RCC & N.R.H.S, awards a number of scholarships each year to new and continuing students at the college.
