The Town of Clarkstown four amazing community centers:

Street Community Center – 31 Zukor Road, New City, NY 10956
Congers Community Center – 8 Gilchrest Road, Congers, NY 10920
Pascack Community Center – 87 New Clarkstown Road, Nanuet, NY 10954
Central Nyack Community Center – 58 Waldron Avenue, Central Nyack, NY 10960

In order to have access to the four community centers, you need to be a Clarkstown resident and have a valid I.D. card. The card is free.
In order to get an I.D. card, you need to set up a CommunityPass account and and come to the Recreation Administration Building located at 31 Zukor Road in New City to show proof of residency and to have your photo taken. 

All programs that take place at the community centers require a separate fee.

BEAR SWAMP PRESERVE AND NATURE TRAIL

Last week, Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann and Town officials opened the “Bear Swamp Preserve and Nature Trail” located on Mountainview Avenue in Valley Cottage. This property was bought by the Town in 2017 to preserve open space and protect the wetlands. It connects to the existing 83 acre County of Rockland Mountainview Nature Park, which provides access to the Long Path.

We hope this great addition allows residents to not only enjoy fresh air but to create exciting, new experiences and memories with family and friends! Enjoy!
