Vehicle Crashes Into Sloatsburg Storefront: Investigation Ongoing
Sloatsburg, NY-The Town of Ramapo Police Department responded swiftly to an emergency call on Thursday, September 28, 2023, when a vehicle crashed into a storefront located at 67 Orange Turnpike in The Village of Sloatsburg.
Upon arrival, authorities found the scene under control, with no immediate injuries reported. The vehicle had collided with the building, prompting concerns about structural damage. To assess the extent of the damage, The Sloatsburg Fire Department and The Village of Sloatsburg building inspectors were called to the scene.
The incident is under ongoing investigation by the Town of Ramapo Police Department. Preliminary information indicates that there were no injuries resulting from the crash. However, authorities are working diligently to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the accident.
TimeMission Challenge takes Boy and Girl Scout Troops on an Adventure to Achieve Victory and Have Fun
On September 23rd, Boy & Girl Scout Troops from Rockland County gathered at TimeMission in the Palisades Center for an exciting time-travel adventure game. They explored different portals and faced challenges in various time zones, creating a buzz of excitement and anticipation in the corridors.
This event was free for the Scout Troops and aimed to encourage teamwork, strategic thinking, and an understanding of history and time. At the end of the event, all the scores from each troop were added up to announce the overall winners. There were four prizes given away to the teams.
