Bardonia Fine Wines and Spirits has its grand opening

Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann, Council members Borelli and Carroll, and the Nanuet Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Bardonia Fine Wines and Spirits this week.
Congratulations to the owner Jeetu Patel and Manager Ricky Chopra.
The store is located at 59 Bardonia Road in Bardonia.
Sanchez, Gianakouros excel in Special Olympics

| Congratulations to two Clarkstown residents Katy Sanchez and John Gianakouros for receiving silver medals in the National Special Olympics recently held in Orlando Florida. Katy, from Nanuet, received 3 medals in track and field. John, a Clarkstown North alum, received two medals in tennis. Katy and John were 2 of over 200 participants from New York and the only athletes from Rockland County. Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann, Chief Wanamaker, and the Clarkstown PBA presented certificates for their great achievements. |
Nick Mancino is Clarsktown’s newest Eagle Scout

Congratulations to Clarkstown’s newest Eagle Scout Nick Mancino. Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehmann recently attended Nick’s Eagle Court of Honor to present a certificate for a great job!
Nick’s project was to create an entrance on Duke Lane for the Germonds-Traphagen Trail in West Nyack.
New Pickleball Courts at Congers Lake

Clarkstown Town Supervisor George Hoehmann and the Town Board officially opened the new pickleball courts at Congers Lake Memorial Park with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
The Town completed construction of 9 new pickleball courts and a concession stand with bathrooms.
Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski, who secured a $500,000 State grant for the Town’s project, also joined the celebration as well as Recreation Superintendent Eric Hammermeister, Chris Wagner, Director of DEFM, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board members, other town officials, Bridges, and many members of the Rockland Pickleball Club.
The courts are now officially open to all Clarkstown residents!
