This week, the Town of Clarkstown entrances were bright with red light for the “Light Rockland Red for Jared” initiative in honor of fallen firefighter Jared Lloyd. Spring Valley and Columbian Fire Departments launched the program on this 2nd anniversary of Jared’s passing. Jared lost his life battling a massive fire at an assisted living facility in Spring Valley saving several lives. Clarkstown remembers Jared Lloyd.
The Snake Hill Road Bridge will be closed at the intersections of Snake Hill Road/Old Mill Road and Crusher Road from April 3rd until September 2023.
The Town Of Clarkstown secured a NYS grant to replace this aging County bridge. Detour information will be posted via signs on Old Mill Road and Kings Highway. Please be prepared to use alternate routes of travel. Thank you for your patience while we work to replace aging infrastructure.
