Supervisor Specht joined Ramapo Police Officer Julianne Franklin and other police officers in Walmart of Suffern to promote a new initiative called “shop with a cop”. The initiative was taken to help foster positive relationships and mutual respect between children and officers. Walmart provided 80 children with gift cards and paired them with police officers to help shop for a gift. Thank you to Walmart of Suffern for hosting this program while also giving children in need a special treat.
