Clarkstown Town Hall will be illuminated green in support of Veterans during ‘Operation Green Light’ the week of November 7th to November 13th.
Operation Green Light’s mission is to show support for Veterans of all military conflicts, as well as raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by many Veterans and their families and the resources that are available at the county, state, and federal level to assist Veterans.
Residents and businesses are encouraged to also participate by simply changing one light bulb in their house (interior or exterior) to a green bulb. Bridges of Rockland County has some green light bulbs for residents’ use and a limited supply is at Clarkstown Town Hall. By shining a green light, we are letting our Veterans know that they are seen, appreciated, and supported.

Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour as Daylight Savings time ends at 2:00 am on Sunday, November 6th. This is also a good time to check your smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarm.
