Supervisor Hoehmann joined The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI Rockland) and the Deputy County Executive in declaring May as Mental Health Awareness Month in the Town of Clarkstown and Rockland County. Mental health conditions are real and prevalent in our nation. This month the Town proudly displays ribbons from NAMI to raise awareness of mental illness, reduce stigma, promote understanding, and encourage treatment. Thank you NAMI for all your work to improve the lives of individuals living with mental illness and their families through education, support, and advocacy.
