| It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Robert (Bobby) Murdoch Jr., a Town employee for over 29 years. Bobby was a foreman in the Highway Department and also further served the people of the Town as a volunteer firefighter and Chief of the Hillcrest Fire Department. He was a true gentleman with an amazing work ethic. He will be missed by all of us who had the privilege to work with him. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. |

Suez infrastructure improvement project
Suez released the following information regarding its Infrastructure Improvement Project on East Central Avenue from Main Street to Middletown Road in Pearl River.
PRMS 2021 Color Run to take place September 18th
The Pearl River Middle School 2021 Color Run will take place on Saturday, September 18th at 9:30 am. Check in will be at 9am at the Nauraushaun Swim Club Parking Lot. All proceeds wills benefit the Pearl River Middle School PTA.

The Town of Orangetown will host a 9/11 Memorial ceremony on Saturday, September 11th at 5:30pm.
Tappan Fire Dept. to dedicate new 9/11 memorial
The Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan will dedicate a new memorial in remembrance of those lost on 9/11 on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 8:30am on the Tappan Green.
