The Al’s Concert July 15th
Congers based duo “The AL’s” (Alice Leon and Al Greene).
Alice Leon is a prolific singer songwriter and interpreter of classic songs. With a voice and style that’s been compared to Carole King and Adele. Al Greene is a multi instrumentalist who plays bass guitar and drum kit with his feet. He’s also a veteran of the Broadway stage. Together they perform fun acoustic music for every generation.

9th Annual Anthony Amoros Memorial Car Show

Anthony Amoros was a first-year student at RCC when he died in a one-car accident on Thiells-Mt. Ivy Road in Haverstraw in January 2013. A 2012 North Rockland High School graduate, Amoros loved working on cars and attended Rockland BOCES for auto mechanics.
His family established the car show in 2013 as a tribute to Anthony and his automotive passion. The Anthony A. Amoros Memorial Scholarship at RCC & N.R.H.S awards a number of scholarships each year to new and continuing students at the college.
