Each year, the Clarkstown Police Department holds its annual Police Recognition ceremony in honor of National Law Enforcement week in May. Chief Wanamaker presented 50 awards to members of the Department ranging from lifesaving to solving homicide investigations.
Also in attendance were 10 exceptional students who were awarded scholarships. The Clarkstown PBA offers two scholarships each year which are named in honor of Chief G. Robert Schnakenberg and Det. Sgt. James J. Doyle. Congratulations to all who received these prestigious awards and scholarships!
