Memorial Day Ceremonies and Parade in Clarkstown
Saturday, May 28th
Congers VMA Parade and Ceremony
Parade Kick off: 10:30am at the Congers/Valley Cottage Ambulance Corps building located at Kings Highway and Bluebird Drive. Parade participants will proceed on Kings Highway to Lake Road and then to the VMA Building at 66 Lake Road, Congers. Immediately following the parade there will be a Memorial Ceremony at the VMA Building.
Monday, May 30th
10am – Mt. Moor Cemetery Ceremony

11am – New City American Legion

Valley Cottage Fire Dept. holds dinner celebrating 108 years of service
Valley Cottage Fire Dept held their annual Dinner commemorating 108 years of service. Great job by Chief Dennis Borelli and President David Dillon on running a great program.
The dinner recognized Robert BJ Johnson Jr., for his over twenty years of service ranging from firefighter to Chief.
Firefighter Ryan Ebner, who was injured and survived fighting a fire last year, was also honored.
The Department also presented helmet patches to four of the five probationary firefighters that joined the department and have completed the 140 hours of training.
Congratulations to all the other service award winners–thank you all for your years of selfless service!
