At this week’s Town Board meeting, the Town Board and Chief Wanamaker presented certificates to the graduates of the most recent Youth Court class.
The Town of Clarkstown’s Youth Court was established in April of 1981. Youth Court is a court of peers. Juveniles will be tried, judged, defended, and convicted or exonerated by a court compromised of young adults.
The PD also recognized Brian Berkowitz is an attorney in New City, also a former Rockland Assistant District Attorney.
He has volunteered his time to the Clarkstown youth programs- youth court, youth academy and Explorers for over 20 years.

This week, Supervisor Hoehmann and Councilman Franchino joined County Executive Day and Sheriff Falco and the Nanuet Chamber in welcoming the new AFC Urgent Care to the Rockland Plaza in Nanuet.
AFC is open seven days a week and walk ins are welcome. They are located at 42 Rockland Plaza, Nanuet. Congratulations to the team at AFC and welcome to Clarkstown!
