Time to Plan for Snow Emergencies in the Village of Nyack!
During a declared Snow Emergency in the Village of Nyack, no cars are allowed in the “red zone” on map. We know this creates a hardship for people who depend on street parking. During snow emergencies, the Village makes available the lots on Main Street at no charge for the duration of the snow emergency. However, you may have a neighbor who is willing to provide a parking space and now’s a good time to plan.
Any declaration of snow emergency will be made through the newsletters, website and social media. Any questions, please call our Department of Public Works at 845-358-3552.

Village of Nyack LED Street Light Conversion

The Village will look a little brighter with 489 clean LED lights. The Village now owns all the street lights and outages should be reported directly to our DPW, not Orange & Rockland Utilities. Should you notice an outage please contact our DPW at 845-358-3552 or an email with the location and details is preferred: dpw@nyack-ny.gov
