The Town of Orangetown “Rock the Park” 2021 Summer Concert Series presents Mystical Majesty Band, a Beatles cover band, on Friday, August 6th at Veterans Memorial Park.
The girls of South Orangetown Little League 12u came home to Orangetown after having just beat NJ with a 1-0 victory to become the East Region Champs! Upon hearing the news, staff member Carmel Reilly jumped into action to ensure that the girls arrived home to a well-deserved celebration.
Special thanks to the Orangetown Police Department and Rockland County Sheriff’s Department for escorting the team, with lights and sirens blazing, as well as the Orangeburg, Blauvelt, Tappan, Sparkill and Piermont Fire Departments and the South Orangetown Ambulance Corp. for showing up in full force to line the street with their trucks.
The team is now heading to North Carolina to compete in the 2021 Little League World Series. Congratulations ladies and best of luck in North Carolina. We are all so very proud of you.
