Blood drive in Nyack on June 29th
The American Red Cross will sponsor a blood drive on Tuesday, June 29th, from 12 noon to 5pm at Living Christ Church in Nyack.
Orangetown Supervisor Kenny receives Natalie Couch Award
The Rockland County Bar Association presenting Orangetown Supervisor Teresa Kenny with the Natalie Couch Award at their 2021 Awards and Installation Dinner last night. Natalie Couch graduated from Wellesley College in 1907 and went on to do great things in Rockland County. To name just a few, Couch was the first woman to practice law, to cast a legal vote, and to serve as the President of the Rockland County Bar Association. Kenny said, “It was an honor to receive this award from my colleagues in the legal profession and in the name of such a phenomenal Orangetown woman.”
